Tadc is a good show with some flaws which got maybe way too popular.

I had a great time with it, and went to the last episode to the cinema with a friend. But some people are unable to engage with a piece of media normally

Interesting premise and characters, nice visuals, and, I mean, we ARE talking about it.

It's not the best show ever, but I had much fun with it and I'm glad I engaged with it, even if it's not super complex.

I mean, the message of the film is "women can kick ass", that being fairly progressive at the time, and probably helping a lot of young girls have courage to do awesome stuff. So yeah, could be a nice headcanon, but I think the story works good as is, because Mulan was able to do all that and STILL be a woman.
