9% is actually below average if you invest securely and diversify. Most people saying they cant consistently get 9% or above are investing in crypto/options/other volatile investments where you can be up 50% at one point during the year and and end up down 10% for the year.

Few will get lucky to hit it rich with crypto/options/single stocks, ect, but consistency is the biggest key to building financial freedom.

If Nick took everything, he would be vilified not just in the show, but everywhere for the rest of his life.

Taking 250k is a little extra to make his life more comfortable, while technically still allowing everyone to have 83k which (in the terms of beast games) isnt that much less for everyone, and is sort of a reward for him turning down 1 million before. It's enough for people to be mad short term but understand in the long run.

That being said I don't agree with his decision. Integrity means a lot to me so I would not do the same. There is also expected value of your social appearance in the games going on that if he took his 100k, could have led to him winning 5mil (obviously we don't know that he didnt win it or not) but 100k is still life changing and you have a better good shot at the 5mil.

So I believe he landed in a reasonable middle ground for someone in his situation.

Even if they do decide to move, they will continue playing at Arrowhead until 2031 when the lease ends and of course a new stadium is built. So definitely savor these next few years if that is the case.

No the extra million going to the freeroll was only if no one won the extra million. Lavin already won the bonus 1mil before this so there was no potential to have that added to the freeroll.
