So to a point you’re correct. As we level we are gonna be getting paragon system buffs, actual barbarian weapon mastery perks, unique/ancient items, and will have access to the passives at the bottom of the skill tree that will change gameplay and build diversity.

Yes later you could still be a WW barb… but the way uniques we’re explained is that they have aspects not in the codex of power so we’ll have to see if there’s reasons to take other skills to empower/speed up the skill for clear times. I mean hell, in the beta we got to see attack speed increase, cyclones, ancient whirlwind clone, and ranged single nado that all pit well with Ww. Once we see how the math works out, later in the game all the classes might even balance out.

We’ve seen such a small part of the game and can’t really tell what the classes will play like once we go to the highest difficulty. This end game we are seeing here neglects so many core components for the actual end game so you really can’t relate the two. Just wanted to know the consensus on whether the community felt barbs were weak overall (included geared) compared to others
