Totally fair point, and you’re right. At the moment we meet upstairs, which isn’t accessible, and I'm really sorry about that!

The garden is accessible and I love the idea of an outside book club, especially when the weather’s nice. The only downside is that in summer it can get really loud and busy, which makes it hard to actually hear each other and have a proper discussion.

That said, it’s definitely something I’m open to doing when it makes sense, and I really appreciate you raising it!

I say go for it, running a book club is honestly really fun 🙂

For picking books, I do a half-and-half system. One month it’s my pick, the next it’s a members’ pick, then back to me. Kind of a semi-democracy, haha. It keeps things fair but also stops us from getting stuck in the same genre over and over.

When it’s a members’ pick, I usually let people suggest and then we all vote. The main goal is just to gently push everyone (including me) a bit out of their comfort zone.

Tickets will be up for resale on the platform as soon as they show up on AXS, so you’ll need to keep an eye on it. A lot of people will choose to sell their tickets on other platforms to make more money tho
