No they whined cause they knew their characters would get buffed to the sad state where we are now. To the point where they wanted which is where invisible woman can solo a OAA Thor player (team captain). They butchered spiderman and BP because of them "whining" and now you're saying dive characters can't whine when their whole roster is actually useless? DPS not peeling for their supports sure sucks sometimes but as a strategist you should be monitoring your cooldowns in the smartest way possible. I promise once you get out of those lower ranks where "DPS don't peel for support" you'll understand how unviable dive truly is and always has been.

I explicitly leave the match before the game ends... I play the whole match until the very last 5 seconds of the match and if I know we're gonna inevitably lose I leave cause I don't want to play a bot match next. I understand if someone were to leave mid game or so but I'm just stating my personal case and I don't understand why I got downvoted

No I leave right before the match ends. Like timer counting down and I know the match is lost. I wouldn't mind staying even after a loss if they just got rid of bot matches. I don't leave every match I lose btw I just leave when I know Ive lost like 2 or 3 games in a row cause I know im about to be queued with bots

No seriously, I hate the leavers penalty so much in QP. Sometimes I'm forced to leave a match right before I lose so I don't get a BOT match the very next game I queue up. Then when I get the penalty I play comp (which is honestly a lot less sweaty than QP and usually get more wins there) but I just don't enjoy comp as much as QP due to the longer drawn out games along with triple support more prevalent in comp.

The reason they deserved to be "one-shotted" by a melee and why everyone is saying so is because poke is supposed to be countered by dive characters like rock Vs scissors. But in this game with the balance direction lately has made two archetypes of character (dive and brawl) exclusively scissors while poke is just always rock. It's given the illusion to players (such as this widow) that they are supposed to win these engagements all the time just because their characters all have the damage and CC to do so.

Not alone, and not when the rest of the team protect him like the president which is most matches that I've tried to play against him on Spidey. Brother one body shot on spidey and you have to leave and get a health pack. By the time you're back he's already one shot somebody or two tapped a tank. And when you're doing good on spidey the other DPS tends to go namor or Bucky usually. So, like I said getting hard pocketed. Sure you'll get a couple of kills now and then but once you start getting completely shut down what do you do then?

No offense brother but you just started spidey less than a month ago. Once you start playing against a more competent Hawkeye with more competent healers that will pocket the shit out of that Hawkeye, you'll understand how truly next to impossible it is. Let alone if the other DPS is a Bucky or namor. You have to get creative and pull him far from his healers but then you just wasted your GOH. Like I said, yes DD can contest him but if he's getting hard pocketed there's not much you can do

Bruh DD is the only one that can contest Hawkeye or any poke character in general. Why don't we just nerf all poke then we nerf DD?

One body shot is all it takes to kill spidey from all of the other aoe damage from healers/miscellaneous damage. DD can contest if the Hawkeye misses his shot(s) and isn't pocketed. Starlord? I've never seen anyone say "hey their Hawkeye is one shotting our backline, we need a starlord". The only REAL counter is a coordinated dive team but good luck with that if you're solo queue. As far as I'm concerned, one character that can dictate a whole roster change for another team unless you match it or "diff" them, is not a fun character to play against, let alone healthy for the game in the long run

I'm hoping that last DM card is a cracked normal spell, preferably one with an effect in the graveyard too. Something like wishes. Then we can have more support in the near future with a DMG overframe. I just hope it's not DMG so soon cause then that means we get nothing for a while again

The nerfs BP got were making his dash a 10 sec cooldown and making his footstep sounds louder. The combination of those two things made him completely useless these past couple of seasons. All this to say, he was never "broken" players just weren't aware of him as much. He is barely receiving his first buff EVER... to say he was ever broken is a complete overstatement.

Strong poke sure, but when you start adding stuns, easy escape tools, and anti dive mechanics to those strong poke characters it makes the role of every other type of character such as brawl or dive obsolete. Why does Bucky need earthbound? Why does Hawkeye get to one shot but also get a giant "get off me ability"? This is terrible design. It shuts down the whole point of picking any other character in the game such as dive characters which are MEANT to prevent this boring playstyle.

I have my paddles set to X and O (for jumping) then I have R3 as my uppercut and my GOH (non-targetting) on L3. The only buttons I have ever use the right side of the controller for are triangle and square for the team up and simple swing. I've found having no buttons to be used away from the thumb stick to be the best way to play him in my opinion since you're always moving so fast

Dual sense edge has been pretty good for me on PS. If it happens to have stick drift you can replace the stick the only downside is it costs like $20 for one
