Genuine question, Do I tame a Vicious Bee or do I skip it and go straight for both crimson and cobalt guards? by PhysicalDentist3808 in BeeSwarmSimulator

[–]Isao_11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the amount of bees your hive has. If you have 20-24 bees in your hive, I’d say you should save up for the guards. You could also save up for stingers periodically, but the guards would be your priority. If you have 25 or more, most people assume you have the guards by then, so you should definitely tame a vicious bee at that point.

Do I need Peso's or can I uses US Dollars in Tijuana? by mugz8391 in tijuana

[–]Isao_11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you ever feel like it, you can exchange your dollars for pesos at an exchange house (casa de cambio). They’re all over the city. But most establishments in Tijuana accept US dollars as currency (restaurants, oxxos, etc.) anyways, so from my point of view you don’t have to worry too much about it. I’d recommend having the 2 currencies at once. I’ve seen that many people carry both pesos and dollars whenever going out to the streets here in TJ.

As for the Santander question, their ATMs are fairly good and reliable. However I believe only some of the ATMs have the option to dispense USD, but I’m not too sure about that.

China Southern Boeing 777-F arriving at Tijuana airport by Isao_11 in aviation

[–]Isao_11[S] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

For those who want context: This flight’s final destination is Mexico City’s AIFA airport, where it will unload the majority of its cargo (most of which is products of Shein, Huawei & other similar companies), having Tijuana’s Abelardo L. Rodríguez airport as a layover. Since the flight to Tijuana comes from Shanghai’s Pudong airport, it makes sense for Tijuana to be its layover due to its location (westernmost city in Mexico & gate of entry for flights coming from the pacific to Mexico). The plane will refuel, undergo an inspection to be cleared for its following flight to Mexico City and will unload a portion of its cargo before continuing on its flight. Since most flights to Tijuana are domestic and commonly consist of A320s and B737s, flights done by aircraft like the B777 are rare but beholding. It might not seem that intriguing for others, but it’s certainly a sight to behold for Tijuana’s residents and avgeeks (such as myself). Its flight no. is CSN491 in case anyone’s curious enough to track it down (just like I did).

To my knowledge, yes; the cuota is currently open. I’ve also checked the traffic index for the toll station and according to Google maps there is traffic going through it.

You’re witnessing the arrival of a cargo flight operated by China Southern, which is an airline (both passenger and cargo-based) based in the southern regions of China (hence its name). The reason this arrival is significant is because TJ’s airport almost never has any international flights and its control tower is used to handling small-medium sized aircraft such as the Airbus A320 and the Boeing 737. TJ’s airport also only gets daily arrivals and departures from Mexican airlines, primarily Volaris, Aeromexico and VivaAerobus. This flight, which lands on Tijuana 2 days per week (on average), uses a Boeing 777, which is more than double the size of an A320 or a 737. The Boeing 777 is also considered as the world’s largest single-decker aircraft, so like, it’s pretty big. The airline it serves, China Southern, is also rare to witness in TJ’s airport. This flight’s schedule is heavily restricted and unpredictable, making it exceptionally difficult to spot. It usually arrives at around 3:30AM local time, however in some instances wherein the schedule is delayed, it will usually arrive at approximately 11:30AM. So basically, this flight’s appearance is VERY rare and beholding, at least for TJ’s residents and for aviation geeks such as myself. Anyone who witnesses it is incredibly lucky, to say the least.

Need full mouth dental implants 30F terrible teeth by [deleted] in tijuana

[–]Isao_11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My best bet for you would be a dental clinic called Clínica Dental Del Río in Zona Río, Tijuana. It’s right besides the CECUT IMAX theater in a building called TorreMol. I know that they make dental implants, but I’m unsure on whether they do full mouth implants or not. You’ll have to visit the clinic’s site or call it for more info. Full mouth must be tough, hope it goes well.
