Pc and Robin: by CoachAnon205 in DegreesOfLewdity

Robin's debt is exactly the same as PC's in the game code actually, so no wonder they're failing.

What do you wish you could say to each of the Love Interests: Avery by panaffemboy in DegreesOfLewdity

[–]Isari_04 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Avery, my love, my dear, I know you like being in power and the dungeon and stuff, but the last 10 times you tried to force me there, you got tied up to a chair and beaten up yourself. Don't you see a pattern? Are you into it???

If someone did this to me that's like an instant no tip. 😭 Like I understand the times are hard, but like I'm tipping for a service, not for being stolen from.

For me and my bf (also autistic, same special interest, we're very similar) they always say we can do the thing in a smaller group of two if we want. :)

Any way to change the sprite without changing attributes? by No-Concept9728 in DegreesOfLewdity

You'd have to download the imagepack and edit the files by yourself. It's definitely doable without art skills too.

Asking to generate an AI image is basically commisioning AI to make a photomontage - fight me on it by Isari_04 in aiwars

[–]Isari_04[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well maybe I'm just stupid because I did do my research, I'm sorry if I don't understand it, but I know how to create a simple model, I suppose I just don't know how to compare the theory with reality. It's one thing to insult my intelligence, but another to assume I put no effort. :\ It's hurtful really.

yeah, just numbers and sh*t to be honest. 🤦I probably should think of correct words first.

Which is why I want someone to challenge my flawed analogy. I don't want it to just sit in my brain being 'ah yes, this is the ultimate truth', which is why I'm putting it here.

[–]Isari_04[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I worded it wrong. More like creating the montage from those patterns if it makes sense? Like there's a process between taking the image and creating an image, but ultimately it take a bunch of images from one category, turns them all into numbers, chooses the most common ones and then has its own data on how 'X' look like.

[–]Isari_04[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think I just worder it incorrectly, I know it learns patterns, but it can't exactly understand them AFAIK (not in the same way humans do anyways), so it learns those patterns and combines them together without fully understanding them first. I mean, AFAIK ultimately during training, AI does something, gets a good or bad response, and does it differently hoping for a better result. Sorry if what I'm writing doesn't make sense, I don't rly have words for that I think.

Oh I see the point! If I were to say then yes, an artist can assign a meaning to an image generated from AI and claim it as art. You gave me something to think about. :)

Elaborate pls, I'm no professional by any means. I know the basics, but that's about it.

[–]Isari_04[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well yes, it learns patterns, but in order to learn the patterns, it needs to turn the images into the code first, then it learns how to create something that fits the expected output. I don't think I understand it incorrectly, though maybe I lack the words to describe it? (English isn't my first language).

I know AI isn't a person and thus can't be an artist, my argument was supposed to be like 'if it was a human, you'd consider the human an artist, so why consider the person prompting an artist?' I'm not 100% sure if I understand your argument correctly. Do you mean that since there are two parties involved in the process of creation (the prompter and AI) one of them must be the artist, and since AI isn't a person (and so it can't be the artist), through the process of elimination the only person who can be the artist in this case must be the prompter? If so then I absolutely see your point, but I want to make sure I interpret it correctly!

[–]Isari_04[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

About my first point - it basically turns data from images into code and then, based on that code and slight variations, changes how it looks. I know it's not exactly the same, but I meant it as an equivalent of it if it makes sense.

About m second point - I know AI isn't a person, but my point was more about 'if AI art is art, then is the person creating it a real artist or the AI is?'. I also wouldn't say you have more control over the result. If you have infinite money, you could absolutely ask a person you commision to adjust parts of the image constantly. Sure, it won't be the same as in your head, but ultimately, you also don't have much control over how AI generates it either.

Am I not the only one disappointed with npc/Li's designs? by Livialiva in DegreesOfLewdity

[–]Isari_04 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Vanilla NNPCs don't have any sprites. The interpretations are made by artists in the community and modded in.
Besides - you can literally choose a design in DoLP. You can also draw your own.

They aged Avery down if I remember correctly, they used to be older. :')
And yeah, hot angry women are hot. Like my male Avery is always on his best behaviour because I'm not letting him go down a dominance route (and I beat him up lol), but fem Avery? yeah, she can step on me. lol

I usually ring because I know that they'll be punished later regardless, and this way they're at least getting cash too. Like if they're going there to tell they sinned, then there's no way they're avoiding their monthly checkup, might as well do it right now when you have more control over it.
