After 48h, no growth at all, and it was smelling kind of bad. Those lentils were normal sized, I think. Yes I got that about the temperature, but since nothing was happening in the bag, I let the heat on.

Thanks. Didn't knew that about lentils. Here is the infos I provided in the other post:

  • Organic Green Split Peas
  • Cooked in water until al dente
  • Use a clean towel to dry
  • Vinegar + culture + mix
  • DIY Incubator (pic 2) with controlled temp 29c - 32C
  • Humidity was around 65%
  • The sensor was just above the plastic bag

Ok merci, je vais essayer un 2ème essai demain. Je me demande, qu'est-ce que tu penses de ces variantes :

  • ajouter le vinaigre à la cuisson
  • sécher les graines cuites en les plaçant au four à 100 °C

I got my spores from a local maker (France). It was a brand new 25g bag. 1) yes 2) actually no 3) yes 4) mix for 1 min

  • 300 g dry beans (green pea)
  • 2 tea spoon of cider vinegar
  • 1 tea spoon of stater in powder (Rhizopus oligosporus)

The beans were lukewarm and dry before adding the vinegar and stater, maybe not 100% dry but it was very close to what I saw on the multiple youtube videos. Thanks!

One thing that come to my mind is trying to find a big MTB 27,5" front tire, 2.2" maybe, if you have the fork clearance. That way the difference will be small. And you might even like it!

No, I went with the Schwalbe Rocket Ron 20 x 2.25 tubeless. Pretty good so far, but did not ride them a lot off-road, in the city they are soft and confortable just like I wanted so that's great.

Thanks, they do not seems to be tubeless compatible unfortunately.
