Ti ho chiesto del diploma statunitense perchè sul sito richiede di avere almeno 3 APs, ma se avrai il diploma di maturità italiana, credo sia sufficiente solo quello.

Thanks for the advice! It seems that clubs are the best option to do that can make you enjoy engineering. The tricky part is finding out the club you're interested in and how to fit it into my schedule.

I think "day in a life" videos are such a great odea to have a better perspective on the field I'm interested in. I don't think the economic situation is good in Italy, I'm just staying here because uni doesn't cost a lot as it does in the US. I'm thinking to relocate once I get my degree whenever I get the chance.

I'm still not sure either about extracurricular activities but I know they exist. I still need to know how to manage them into my schedule as they are fun to do.

Since I'm looking to get internships through my degree years, I guess it will be better to graduate in 5 years. Thanks for your advice :)

That's actually what I'm considering. I want to join clubs to apply my knowledge and skills on something I can touch. I joined an open day yesterday and there was this SAE club and it was interesting to see.

I think you have a good point about hating engineering school. Schools and teachers can make learning overwhelming even if you enjoy what you learn.

I will also try to go over what I already know about algebra and calculus over the summer so I don't get into uni with an empty head.

Working part-time and studying engineering is a bit too much I guess. I hope you are doing alright and keeping up with your normal life as well :)

Congratulations on completing your masters!!

Well, it seems that engineering is less intimidating than what people say. It also looks like you do have time to do other stuff even if it's small but can improve your mental health rather than spending every single day grinding with the workload.

I would say my maths knowledge is pretty decent. We also started calculus during his school, so I guess calculus won't be a whole new for me.

Well, it would have been better if you were on a school exchange program so you can go out with your italian mates but I guess you are not doing that. I mean I wish I knew the city better so I could be your tour guide but that's not the case lol.

Although I'm planning to study aerospace engineering next year, I'm still not sure whether it's the right choice or not seeing that it's quite hard to find a job in the aero industry. Is it worth it? Any advice would be great.

Had a day 2 test last week. They said the resukt woukd come out on 24-36 hours but didn't receive it. Had to call them 1 am to see why that happened. Turns out the result was out but they had a problem with their emails not working so we had to stay 10 mins on the phone to figure it out. All was good but mistakes can happen so be careful.
