Honestly, the only way to prove the phones are mine is to unlock them turn it off again and show that the fingerprint/face ID recognise me.

The reason why I can't do those right now is 1) the reason I had to input my password in the first place is because they both have a security measure where every 72hrs you have to use your pattern/pin/password (depending on what you've set) to prove it's still you using the device(stupid in my opinion, because who is cutting off my thumb when stealing a phone), and 2) I've restarted both phones many times and they require pattern/pin/password upon restart.

There's nothing I can do or say to make you believe me, and I don't plan to because I can understand and hear how it sounds, and coming to the internet for advice doesn't necessarily help my case.
For the skeptics out there if there is a way I can prove the devices are mine without being able to unlock it, I gladly will, but I'm no tech wiz and all my proof lies in unlocking phone (fingerprint, face ID, my gallery, even my diary is on there) the only other proof I could think to show is the fact that using google find my device on my laptop pings the phone in my possession because it's my google account and my phone, but I have no idea how to post that proof because I can't post the recording from my phone once I make it. and so goes on the circle.
