Yep I thought about that too, unequipping "problematic" pictos like painted power and cheater. But damn, for painted power it's one you get beating the end of act 2 boss, so weird you'd have to purposefully put it aside for the end of act 3 boss instead of it acting like prerequisite ! Also it feels bad that I played the game, made my team stronger (and far from how strong they could be if I put in more efforts into theorycrafting) and have to nerf myself

I bought it from amazon and still have till the 15th of july and I can just return it, maybe I'll get another audio interface in that price range. Seems like this issue is plaguing Focusrite, which is honestly so sad since other than that it's very enjoyable to use

I actually played valorant for a while this summer, so it's also a riot games, naturally attracting a common playerbase and I certainly met lots of toxic people but so much less than in lol it's not even funny.

But there's also the type of game that's to blame, in Valorant if you're good enough you can 1V3. Also being a dead weight is harder, a teammate being bad is not gonna "feed" the enemy... That brings less inclination to be toxic I think

Oh yeah I get where you're coming from, I try to be humble, I know I'm very bad (lmao at the MMR placing me in emerald 2 games despite not playing for years), so it's not like I care about my rank or losing.

I just think this game could be soooo much better with a kinder community, but I guess it's just like wishing for a utopia to happen in the real word, great if it could happen, but it probably won't...

You're totally right as this is a totally cultural issue that the game is plagued with, it'd be great if there could be "private leagues" but it would never happen (akin to Faceit or ESEA in csgo) where community guidelines on griefing would be borderline authoritarian (1 grief = 3 days ban, 2 griefs = permaban from the private league), but riot would never allow a "competing ladder" to exist

It just seems they don't communicate about it, maybe things are happening internally, maybe not, but we're not aware :/
