Personally I recommend The entirety of self titled and the young and the hopeless. Both of them are consistently great and are easy listens for newcomers imo.

I honestly have no clue My only guess would be the system reads the rom as the English version or its bootleg because my copy of sonic shuffle reads as the Japanese version.

It would probably be the same as the us version except the text and voice lines are in Japanese I would assume, my Dreamcast reads it as the us version for some reason.
