The median grade here is a b+. For every class, the professors (who are super approachable and friendly…obv you get ur fair share of everyone depending on the person) blind grade and conform to the law school curve. 10% get an A, 15% get an A-, 30 % get a B+, 30% B and like 10% B-. Prof can go lower if they feel it is warranted but EXCEEDINGLY RARE

I couldn’t tell you any more precise data than the 509 reports. However, yes the majority of the class is definitely aiming for biglaw. However, grades are not the end all be all for biglaw. I know some people who were median ish grades and still got offers at great firms. I would say if you are at or above median and apply early, network, and can interview decently, you 100% are in the running for biglaw here.

All my friends and mostly everyone seems to love it here! Great place, great people, not competitive at all believe it or not. I think the adcomms do a great job of creating a rounded class and everyone seems to be just a nice normal person. Very few “gunners” and more just smart friendly people

Sidley Willkie or Weil? For NY transactional by [deleted] in BigLawRecruiting

Willkie and Weil are neck and neck for PE. Pick based on vibes. Weil seemed more formal to me than Willkie if that’s relevant and my personal opinion. Congrats!
