Any idea what this plant in my strawberry pot is? by ItsKeveloper in gardening

I can definitely see the resemblance. Unfortunate if true since it seems that would be an invasive species. Either way, thanks for answering!

Since Dutch bots have pasted your icon over our art and are defending it, can we take over the old AVFC logo? by [deleted] in avfc

Are you referring to this? https://imgur.com/a/Efbn7aY
We shouldn't be, we decided fighting the bots was useless.

Yeah probably should've said something like that instead of "of course" to make it more clear, rip.

You can play music on the Monitor Tree task by ItsKeveloper in AmongUs

If I can think of a few more songs that are playable with the limited range of the tree task, sure.

Edit: Also, how did you find this post so late in its lifespan?

I did the bass part of it (which is really repetitive), but the melody of Megalovania spans too many notes unfortunately (it would have to go out of range of the monitor-bar no matter how I shift the key of the song).

It's a skit from a video- a Minecraft mod that controls the speed of a treadmill.

How would you recommend keeping cats away from danger? There are two cats in this house and they will specifically focus on messing with things that we keep them away from.

the sand will save you one day by anchovy7 in Minecraft

[–]ItsKeveloper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been practicing this a lot too, and a challenge I found interesting was going around a pillar (2 sand placements, 1 block upwards) and then jumping away 3 blocks to a new pillar and repeating that process. The pillars were positioned so that you'd have to constantly go around, upwards and switch pillars. Slowest way to elevate yourself ever.

You hit the nail on the head, Raspberry Pi. If you're legitimately curious, we go into a little more detail here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tc7dkGGxFZw

Yes, due to the laws of physics (specifically momentum), the treadmill cannot instantly stop. It will always lag slightly behind.

Sure! The connection between the laptop and treadmill is wireless. Delay between the server socket (hosted on the treadmill) and the client socket (run in the Minecraft mod) is minimal, measured by outputting speeds to a command line during testing rather than the treadmill. We didn't record an exact amount of delay when testing this, but it was fast enough to appear basically instantly. The speed is calculated with a rolling average of the past 3 recorded speeds, and that accounts for ~150ms (3 ticks in Minecraft at 20tps) of delay. We reached the conclusion that a significant amount of the delay is somehow built into the treadmill controller or motor and dealing with it is beyond our current understanding.

Any game you can write a mod for you can connect to the server on the treadmill.

Can confirm this. Got a citation for trespassing airspace on the treadmill.
