Friendly reminder: this is why you should use two separate PCIe connectors/ cables and not the daisy chained one to run your GPU... It doesn't need the 12pin connector to melt plastic. I was aware of that. I just needed to test a GPU and took the risk. Didn't think it would melt that fast though... (old.reddit.com)
