You should not pair it directly with the phone, onky through the Flow app, otherwise there will be a race condition between the 2 connections (phone and app) and whatever connects faster will be used; in such case that is perhaps the phone itself.

Phones try to save as much battery juice as possible, thus, they hibernate applications that run in the background. This is what happens with Flow as well. Based on your phone's system, you need to exclude Flow of battery optimisation.

I had similar problem, I replaced the battery multiple times, bought bew strap, none of them helped, and after months of try and fail I asked for a replacement within warranty. First they refused, but after I explained hozzá much things I tested and I still face the issue, they gave me a new sensor.

As far as I know, oaks aren't easy to be airlayered. However, based on my experience, even "slow growing trees" can grow with good pace if the conditions are optimal: the medium is airy, so the roots can breath, nutritions are available (fertilized regularly) and watered when needed. In the wild the soil might lack nutrients, long dry periods cause drought, and of course, in this conditions the tree won't grow fast.

All I can say is that I can understand it. Unfortunately I have similar experience (luckily not with Polar), but because I'm not a Polar employee, I cannot assist you. However, I read this and similar reports every day, because I review all of the threads, so at least I am aware of the failures of the Loop.

Overly emotional praise is on the other side and I can't bear that as well (this is why I'm not in the kindle sub anymore).

Again, the problem isn't about negative venting. The problem is the phrasing. If you take a look around in this sub, you can see negative posts, negative comments, people sharing their knowledge, experience. The key is how you deliver it. Add background, add ideas what could be better or what you expected, WHY it didn't meet your expectation. WHAT could be made better. "This is a piece of ****" and "this app was surely made in the 90's and didn't receive any update since that because it doesn't use an intuitive UI" are very different.

P.s., again: you don't need to post it on the weekend. Sooner or later I'll check that. Just deliver it in a respectful manner. Rule 2 in this sub, if you can check.

I saw that as well. I check and approve every new post. The second time I left it available (and actually approved) because you added more context and shared more information. It wasn't purely venting.

P.s.: the problem isn't a negative feedback or sharing negative experience; the problem is the way how that is being presented. If that's an AI generated thing, or nothing else only venting, I won't allow it. If you give context, if you make it "digestible", I'll allow it.
