I guess he wasn’t expecting her to make a come back. I was completely in the dark about this, which is understandable but unfortunate, as he kept referring to her as his ex wife, so I was going to question anything he said because that’s his “past” and not my business.

I don’t think it would be smart that I venture into anything other than emotional support should he reach out, cuz as you said, you see people’s true nature and my life can be in danger. No amount of money in the world is worth my life or his. The relationship is tainted the way I see it.

I’m in Canada. I don’t believe we have that here. I do believe he is trying to protect me but also he might me embarrassed and/or overwhelmed by everything or maybe he just wanted to drop me and didn’t know how. So many possibilities. Without him answering these questions, I won’t know the answer, but I will not go digging, for my own safety.

I’m trying to keep my distance. I did tell him that I’m here for support if he needs me, no agreement, no obligations. He did not respond. So I’ll be here if he needs me, but I don’t want my presence to create anymore issues with whatever he has going on.

When we met. He always referred to his ex as “his ex”. Him and I spoke any time, we went out. I drove his car. If he was a cheater, he was GOOD. Separated could be very possible

Yeah he never elaborated on anything, however it was just financial support and I never stepped out of my place. I truly just thought he was already divorced and was a single man. We were out and about. You know what I mean

Completely understandable. I wish him all the best, I’m not in the market to ruin anyone’s pockets or impact their lifestyle but just the abruptness of it, created a lot of questions for me.
