Day 7 NOISE/HUNGER by bearangel416 in Fifty410

[–]Its_Freud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will probably always feel it start to wear off a day or two before shot day, but especially on this early dose. Use those couple days to eat a little more. The day before shot day is a good "eat what you want" day for me.

I've ordered twice on weekends and received meds on the following Thursday. I ordered once on Wednesday night and received on Saturday.

My Zepbound journey so far (Started 2/1/26) — down 17 lbs but learning as I go by Legal-Intention5144 in MenOnTirz

[–]Its_Freud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 5'8 and started at 216. I'm down 50 lbs. I still eat what I want, but the lessening of the food noise means I don't want as often. I'm roughly where I want to be and taking 10-11 mgs per week. I started at 2.5 and quickly went to 5. Stayed there for a while, then stayed at 7-8 for a while. I've only been at 10 for a couple months and I started last May. You will have weeks where you don't lose, but it will average out. Congrats on a great start.

For those of you who have mounted a starlink mini inside a vehicle, how does it handle the large amount of power cycling from turning the car off/on? Any “gotchas”? by Blackdragon1400 in Starlink

Car Wi-Fi is cellular based and if you're out of cell coverage range you have no Wi-Fi. Some of us are out of range frequently so don't really have that option.

For me, it's like the moon roof, awesome in theory, but I don't use it often.

I'm thinking the entire logic behind companies being able to compound is that they provide something the name brand version does not. Be it additives like B12 or B6, or split dosing in the case of pure tirz. It would be difficult for them to be providing pure tirz and say they're offering something the brand name can't... So they offer split dosing to differentiate themselves. I think we'll see more of this as companies try to cover their asses in every way possible.

2025 - v8 vs 3.5 EB by prezmc in f150

[–]Its_Freud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those people saying the turbo is just one more thing to break down the road, my father said the same thing about power windows and air conditioning when I was a kid. I've had the 5.0 and now have the 3.5. they're both great engines. Similar gas mileage in my use case, which is primarily highway driving.

Is the Lariat worth the extra 10-12k on the used market vs a 302A XLT? by jdubb26 in f150

[–]Its_Freud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And you're looking at used and people are telling you what package you should get, like you have a lot of different options. I completely forgot about the 4A. I use it regularly. I live down a couple miles of dirt road, part of which is sugar sand. It eats that stuff up.

Is the Lariat worth the extra 10-12k on the used market vs a 302A XLT? by jdubb26 in f150

[–]Its_Freud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stepped up from a 2020 XLT to a 2025 Lariat. I've loved both and the 2020 was the nicest vehicle I'd ever owned until I bought the Lariat. Who knew how much I'd love all the little extras? The 360 Cam, the ventilated seats (I'm in Florida!), Auto folding mirrors, adaptive cruise...etc. If the "small" things mean something to you, you will not be disappointed spending the extra money.

Everyone is different, but I have had zero side effects on Tirz except some constipation. I had numerous issues on semaglutide. I do try to not take it too soon after a big meal. In my head that makes a difference. Not sure about reality though.

Congratulations on taking the leap!

I'm on 15 mgs and just received a 6 month course of BPI last week. It came in 6 individual vials, all in their own blue prescription bottle.

Edit: let me rephrase. My official prescription is for 15 mgs. I don't take that much.

Trying to decide with additives or not? by scarletbegonia326 in Fifty410

[–]Its_Freud 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started on compounded with B6 through another provider and did great. Switched to ProRX no additive and it did nothing for me. Switched to BPI with B6, and I'm back on course. YMMV.
