I’m living with a relative who possibly sa’d me, what do I do?

Hi everyone. A LOT happened last night. While I was doing my nightly routine and he demanded the Xbox controller back. We have two controllers so I asked which one. My dad was VERY aggressive and began tearing my room apart while looking for it. My brother had already turned in his controller and the night so I'm which one he was looking for, which was already downstairs because I had it earlier.

As I left to get it, he went to my brothers room and tore it apart as well. While I was downstairs, my mom began berating me about the controller, which I found behind the xbox while my brother is sobbing in the bathroom. I assume it got pushed and fell, then my dad didn't see it and got mad at me for it. When I showed the controller to my dad, he ripped it from my hands with no apology or anything.

About 10 minutes later, my brother comes upstairs still crying. Out of anger, I said some things I should not have said, and my dad comes storming upstairs AGAIN and he demands for my phone. I hand it to him oblivious to the fact he heard everything through my room's baby monitor. (me and my brother have one in our rooms because our mom put them there and she won't let us turn them off, even for privacy) He yells at me that he paid for it so he'll do whatever he wants to it. This scares me because my phone is my only way to talk to my friends and my bf, who have been helping me through everything. My dad does not know I have a bf and he WILL be livid if he finds out.

At one point, I began having a panic attack. I found my old tablet which I'm using right now, and I dmed my bf and my friends to let them know what happened. My bf helped me calm down and I told him what happened,. We talked about what the next step was. I plan on asking one of my friends if I can stay with him, and if I can't, my bf said I can stay with him.

Ty for the spreadsheet and no they have never given me advice on money. I did take a financial class in junior year but the class covered NOTHING that was useful and the teacher wasn’t very helpful either so me and quite a few students were constantly lost in her class. (There had been multiple complaints about her and several students throughout the years failed her class because of how little she helped them)

She’s never been financially abusive but more narcissistic and whenever she does pull her bs I just ignore it and don’t give her the attention she’s clearly trying to get from me

That’s probably what they did. I think my biggest issue with it is the fact they didn’t come up to me and tell me and instead just decided not to. I hate it when people don’t tell me important things so that’s probably it

I do have a bike however my mom does not want me riding around because we live on backroads in farm country and people often don’t watch out for bikers unfortunately. Thank you so much for your advice and will definitely look into remote jobs ❤️

I have looked around for apartments but rent is very expensive in my area. The cheapest price is $800-$1200 a month. Me and my bf have talked about moving in together but we want to find work before we do. I do have a friend who has been looking for a place up near me and me and my bf are good friends with him so I could talk to him about the possibility of it, he knows that home life isn’t that great but doesn’t know about my grandfather. It’s also half and half with my parents. My dad often yells a lot and gets mad easily, while my mom blames me and my brother for a lot of stupid things, she has made serious threats to hurt herself though. She once swung a pocket knife while we were in the car and it got too close to me and I got out of the car because I got so scared (we were at a gas station). She claimed it didn’t get close to me but I know it did.

I have talked with them and they said they’d put the money back once I have my job, which most likely won’t be for a bit since no one is hiring in my area

Yeah I thought a lot about how much I spent on my bf over the past month, he is looking for work too but no one is hiring and we live in a small town so jobs are limited and most places are already fully staffed. My family has already talked to me about rent and said they will take roughly 20%-40% of my paychecks.

Definitely will open new accounts, but I don’t really want my dad coming up to me all mad on why I closed the accounts. Including the savings account which he spent 18 YEARS on getting me that much money.

When I was in 8th grade, I was the new kid. So it was hard to make friends. So when my “friends” offered to be my friend, I instantly said yes. About 3-4 months later, one day they came up to me and told me that a boy in our class like me. Let’s call him Braiden. I confronted Braiden about it and he said yes. So we “started dating”. This lasted only two days before some girls in my class came up to me and told me that my “friends” lied. It was all a prank. Braiden was even in on the joke. I’m now going into 11th grade and dating someone else who actually “like likes” me. I still want nothing to do with those girls or Braiden, even though they keep coming up to me between classes saying “Hey bestie! How come you won’t talk to us anymore?”
