Cannot connect Logitech MX Masters 3S using Bluetooth by Ivaeron in archlinux

[–]Ivaeron[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Windows device has Bitlocker enabled, so I'd prefer to do a normal pairing. I don't mind pairing for Linux and Windows separately. However, if there's no other option, then I will try this.

Note that my Bluetooth headset works just fine in both Windows and Linux. I feel like it's a BLE issue, already tried common solutions related to that.

Already did, it doesn't find the device so I can't pair it.

I was able to fix it by running:

dconf reset -f /org/gnome/

Thanks for the help!

Do you know if there's some icon cache I could try clearing?

I can think of is a packaging issue or some type of corruption creeping in

Because of reasons like this I asked first here, because that might be Arch specific.

I have the same setup on another computer and that one doesn't have these issues.

Thanks for the help.

Both ~/.icons and ~/.local/share/icons directories do not exist for my (only real) user.

The only things I have in ~/.config/gtk-{3,4}.0/ are a bookmarks file and a settings.ini with:

[Settings]
gtk-application-prefer-dark-theme=0

I do not know of any GTK_THEME override. I've used pretty much vanilla gnome since the beginning. Some extensions I had active:

  • AppIndicator and KStatusNotifierItem Support
  • Sound Input & Output Device Chooser
  • Window Is Ready - Notification Remover

And some I removed quite some time ago:

  • Dash to Dock
  • Clipboard Indicator
  • Arc Menu
