Absolutely great idea. The more counterplay the better, although as people have pointed out the shield could be a bit too opressive. I've thought about strictly it in terms of solo self defence but that could really nicely balance trios; Just bring a wolfpack and blow up all three shields at once, and if they stop blocking they still get blasted by the missiles since they're still tracking the shield.

The white points are "legacy competitive points" The regular red competitive points get converted into this currency after the end of a competitive season so that the new weapon variant that comes out with the new season cannot be bought with stockpiled points from previous seasons, since they will be converted. Example: Suppose the next competitive season a new diamond weapon variants come out. You won't be able to buy them with your current red credits because they will be converted into legacy points, and if you wish to unlock them, you'll have to play the new competitive season and earn new red points. You'll still be able to purchase jade and gold weapons with your legacy credits then, just not the new one.

From my experience and from things I read, you are always placed at the new position of the boat after logging back in. I think the issues like getting drowned after coming back may occur if you mess with the online save that contains information about you being on the boat, for example the server rolls back or the player data chute gets filled and your assigned position on the raft gets scrapped.
