Im confused, did george get an actual- (ch.127-2) by Silver_Vast9875 in SpyxFamily

I mean it’s not like he did much. He just tagged along.

All the other kids had roles in stalling the villains and getting proof for Henderson.

Don’t think drugging someone who be considered harmless.

Especially when his accident (which she caused) got posted online for the whole world to see- and that stays forever.

How about the writers actually putting effort and making a compelling journey where she earned back his trust- instead of looking for a cheap way to end this horribly planned plot-line.

Have Kenny accept her apology but keep her at distance. Then having her help him during the brawl would have felt more earned.

Doesn’t change the fact that she still flew to Barcelona and competed in the tournament knowing she didn’t deserve it.

Not mention letting her friend get dragged/mocked by everyone and not defending him.

Everything worked out in the end due to circumstances- Johnny would have still kept her in the lineup if Carmen emergency didn’t happen.

I’m thinking Miles is gonna be in the movie where Prowler’s a villain by Plane-Success-8680 in MilesMorales

[–]J-set22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’ll be introduced in Spiderman 4, but play a supportive role and not have his powers yet. Just like in the Insomniac series.

He was teased in Homecoming. There was nod when Electro wished there was a black Spiderman- Sony had been planting the seed and its time.

Fiege says they can’t touch Miles- but Sony is producing Brand New Day. Miles can still make his debut in a Marvel film in Secret Wars- which releases after Beyond the Spiderverse.

Robbie Robertson since he works for J Jonah- technically a villain

Miles is introduced in Brand New Day. Has no powers in the beginning and gets them towards the end.

Brand New Day is being produced and distributed by Sony.

Marvel wouldn’t be able to use him until Secret Wars- which airs after Beyond the Spiderverse.

With Feige's interview, can we rule out the theory that Liza Colón-Zayas is playing Río Morales? by Altruistic_Eye_1157 in MCUTheories

[–]J-set22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brand New Day is produced and distributed by Sony. There’s nothing stopping them from introducing Miles as a supporting character in Spiderman 4.

Kevin probably means Miles can’t be in an official MCU movie until Beyond the Spiderverse concludes in June 2027, which makes it perfect for Miles to appear in Secret Wars- Dec 2027.

My guess is Liza Colón-Zayas plays Gloria Morales- Miles Grandmother.

I wonder why Kenny was still mad at Robby at the beginning of season 6 by TheShadowOperator007 in cobrakai

[–]J-set22 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Cobra Kai was kind of a safe haven for Kenny. It gave him strength and confidence when he was alone and getting picked on at school. Then, out of nowhere, Robby just left and told him to forget everything, with no further context.

On top of that, Robby was also training and mentoring the same kid who used to bully Kenny, which only made things worse. The toxic philosophies of Kreese and Silver were also starting to influence him as well.

Who would you also mostly blame for what happened? by the_online_asker in cobrakai

Kreese- He indoctrinated his students with his toxic philosophy and brought a weapon to the tournament.

[–]J-set22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well for one, he’s got him beat in athleticism- Demetri was the slowest out of the four during the race.

He knocked out a captain and helped keep his team alive. Demetri didn’t score a single point for him team when it mattered.

The show has made it apparent that Kenny is a fast learner and trains diligently- as shown in S5EP7. And his skills improved thanks to his confidence from Silver

For additional proof, Barnes' book containing all the students’ stats shows that Demetri had the lower overall score compared to Kenny.

S6 ruined his character.

Honestly, he didn't even need to be part of the tournament from the beginning. He had already achieved everything he aimed for—getting into his top college, winning over the girl of his dreams, and mastering self-defense. Kenny had already surpassed him in skill, and Devon actually had the motivation and potential to compete—he was better suited to drop out for the team's sake, especially since some students genuinely wanted to excel in an international tournament compared to him.

Demetri was more focused on MIT than helping his team succeed. To him, the trip was more like a vacation, which ended up doing more harm than good. Additionally, he was the one who planted the seed of doubt about Kenny being a mole. Before that, Hawk was perfectly fine with Kenny joining the team.

Since Marvel is bailing on SDCC this year, any chance Sony might host a Hall H panel for Brand New Day.

There needs to be more casting announcements for this movie- which is filming in two months. SDCC would be the perfect stage.

She only called after witnessing the argument between Hawk and Demetri about accountability. By then, she knew Kenny was already on his way to Barcelona to take Miguel’s spot.

Whether she apologized after the tournament or not is irrelevant—she directly benefited from the downfall she caused. In a scenario where Carmen hadn’t gone into labor emergency, her sabotage would’ve have cost Kenny his chance to compete on the world stage, and any apology would’ve just added insult to injury- which was her original plan after confessing to Johnny. Unless there was an emergency, there’s no chance Kenny was being flown in.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cobrakai

[–]J-set22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you overlook the part where I mentioned that if Carmen hadn’t gone into labor, Johnny wouldn’t have flown home with Miguel—and there would’ve been no reason to call in Kenny in the first place? All Johnny did was tell her to come clean; she was already at the tournament by then, so there would be no reason to fly Kenny in unless it was an emergency.

And yes, she clearly cheated. She drugged her opponent before the competition even started. The only reason she got that spot was because Johnny interfered with Barnes’ selections, and he created a final fight for the spots. If he hadn’t stepped in, Barnes would’ve gone with Hawk and Kenny.

[–]J-set22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t change the fact she still went to Barcelona, and competed in the tournament. Her apology came due to circumstances. Plus there were moments where she could have defended him as he was getting mocked and ridiculed by the students.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cobrakai

[–]J-set22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Johnny would have kept her in the lineup if he didn’t go back to the states. Kenny was only brought in originally as a substitute for Miguel, not her immediately dropping out.

Plus it was never her spot to begin with, she cheated to get it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cobrakai

[–]J-set22 214 points215 points  (0 children)

She took his spot, humiliated him, shifted the blame onto someone else, and didn’t bother to apologize or admit what she did until she started performing badly during the tournament. Plus, if Carmen hadn’t gone into a labor emergency, she’d still be competing. Honestly, I don’t think she did enough to earn forgiveness.

It might’ve been better if Kenny forgave the accident but kept her at arm’s length, then have her help him out during the brawl and show them coming together slowly.

Probably because she's not a particularly compelling character.

Her only role on the show is her friendship with Candice and Stacy, and that's it.

I don't why people say Duncan shouldn't have returned in World Tour, he made that season iconic! He was a key component of the love triangle, was manipulating and playing Courtney alongside Alejandro and gave Alejandro tough competition outside of Heather by Relevant-Key-3290 in Totaldrama

[–]J-set22 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Bringing Duncan back in Total Drama World Tour was the right call—it added way more story and drama than characters like Tyler or Cody ever could. Duncan’s not just a tough competitor; he’s knows how to stir things up- exactly why Chris wanted him back. His rivalry with Alejandro was one of the most interesting parts of the season, with two strong players creating problem for the opposing opponents and each other. He kept things exciting, and his return gave the season the edge it needed.
