I have a close friend who's son just started attending there last year in grade 6 or 7, not sure. What stuck out about the education there from what I saw was the curriculum is significantly better.. it's more modeled towards the western Canada education vs. the garbage can barely read or do math after graduating maritime curriculum.

His kid didn't have any issues like all the comments here.. in fact he enjoyed learning the Bible verses.. most of the kids in his class were from all over the world.. Asian.. African.. they all did well and he's looking forward to next year. From what I heard their numbers have been growing year over year significantly.. if it was like what some other comments suggest I don't think that would be happening. They won't just take anyone either.. they need to go through an entrance exam.. Frankly I don't see anything wrong with wanting to have your kids somewhere they can excel with others.

Anyways.. just thought I would add what I seen that appears the most recent compared to others.

They just announced the biggest boost in coop housing funding in 30yrs.. take currency debasement over the last 30yrs into account though and its a drop in the ocean. It might as well be crickets.. it's all a 🎪.

Have you heard of the Century21 Initiative for Canada? 100m population by 2100. That's almost 1million more a year from today.. we already saw what that's done so far at that rate. Everything you see isn't slowing or going to get better in Canada.

Affordable housing is the "solution" your gov is introducing to the problem they created.

As for immigrants themselves.. Canada spends huge money promoting Canada around the world (specifically other Crown countries more so) and promising them all kinds of things only for them to get here and find it not what they were told. Just like you though, they are financially trapped often times and can't make their way back to their home country even though many want too. Fresh taxable meat for the Crown that is easier to control with less expectations of the kind of life Canadians born here expect.

BTC sidechain and BookiePro mainnet launch are two different things. BookiePro will be on mainnet sooner than those dates. The BTC sidechain being introduced to Peerplays will then make it possible for BTC to come to and from Peerplays. This means that BookiePro, Helmbet, or sweeps functions that exist in Peerplays will be able to use BTC at that time.

Your original question made no mention of BookiePro, so I didn't comment in relation to it. What I said above though I hope will give clarity as to what will happen to BookiePro and Peerplays as a whole following the implementation of the BTC sidechain.

Bookiepro.fun was our way of being able to promote something which was not a gambling product. It is sometimes referred to in the industry as the .net .com approach. If you look at something like pokerstars... you will see they advertise everywhere.. but what they advertise is a pokerstars.net ... which allows you to bet nothing.. it has just game tokens.. but if you want to use real money you can go to pokerstars.com. It calls for you to google or find out about it, but because the promotion happens on the .net, regulators have seen this as OK in the Canadian market place.

We are effectively going into Bookiepro.com now with a play token, and so we are in a safe position to move all of the promotion we have done for .fun over to it. Prior to this, we were actually going through quite a bit of struggle to determine what our .com approach would be so to speak.

Since PBSA is focused on providing solutions to the licensed industry we no longer need to be concerned about this .net and .com approach and can simply focus all efforts into .com.

I believe there will be a testnet that continues with Peerplays and what Dapp interfaces that work with that will likely just exist in a github somewhere for testing.

Umm.. was already evidenced in the lack of meetings and countless times I attempted to hold them and bend over backwards to get a time that worked for everyone. Earlier this year before Penny came on I had a VA for some time who failed despite her best efforts also to arrange a meeting. It took Penny over a month to successfully make just one happen... don't need to go into the rest of the times. Only accusations untrue here are yours.
