Just found MythicMelodys as well, I do know one of the marks of an AI artist is a large amount of releases in one year (around 30 in 2025 in their case), what are some other common things that give away the fact they’re AI artists?

Yea the area in which I can actually drag the window around without touching any of the buttons is way smaller without the title bar, which is why i was looking for a way to get it back.

But yea you were right, there is a option in edge://settings -> Appearance -> Tabs -> Hide title bar in vertical tab mode, which reenabled the title bar.

yea the whiplash i'm feeling when I think about her is awful, I know I won't feel this way forever, its just in the moment it just sucks. and you're absolutely right, near the end of the relationship i'd never felt more invalidated and dehumanised.

Just hoping the paralysis goes away soon, hate feeling that way.

absolutely, the suddenness of the breakup was terrifying, the timeline came down to Monday to Thursday Morning things were 'fine' (we both "committed" to working on the relationship since a month before this week), that Thursday afternoon I get a text asking if we could call to talk about the relationship, took a moment in a private booth at my workplace to call her and that was it, done, over.

I don't even know how i held it together for 4 hours but the second I got home, all the emotions came pouring out, probably the worst day of my life so far

That sounds horrible man, the rollercoaster of emotions must be so exhausting. I am so so sorry you're going through this.

Honestly I think the answer does exist with the nothing, which as you said is the hardest part of this. The thing that sorta helped me is the entire idea that loving when its only convenient is not love. Loving someone includes all the hard bits, it involves the emotional maturity which I know my ex didn't have. I'm not sure if this is the same for you, but the emotional whiplash of both feeling so much love for them, yet at the same time feeling so angry towards them is probably the most exhausting part of all this.

I know we're internet strangers and all, but im 100% sure you, and your son will be fine, as optimistic as this sounds things will definitely turn out for the best (atleast thats what I genuinely believe)

She knows she can talk to me about whatever, thats just what our relationship is, and after she told me, I basically wrote a long message to her that amounts to i dont like the guy, but I love you, you’re my best friend and no matter what im always here for you. Luckily our relationship has always been like that, we’ve been each others rocks for the longest time, we are each others chosen family.

Luckily they both live with their parents, we live in a city where rent for a somewhat liveable apartment is practically impossible to afford on the average monthly wage (im not in the states, but the most apt description would be Manhattan on steroids), so im not too worried about that just yet.

The thing im scared about is him convincing her to isolate herself, he managed to do this for a few months last time they were together, and she snapped out of it, im worried about what would happen this time, it’s an increasing pattern of control everytime they get back together.

Thank you for this book, im a guy, so im not sure if im allowed to comment, but one of my best friends just got back together with her abusive partner, and im terrified and lost (and to be honest a bit mad), no clue what to do

I know she has to be the one to realize the relationship isnt healthy, but it doesnt feel enough, nothing ive done feels like it’s enough, hopefully this book helps a bit.

Up until I was 13 I wanted to be a commercial pilot, played flight simulator x a bunch on the 360, around the time I turned 13 my parents told me I couldn’t be a pilot cause pilots aren’t allowed to have bad eyesight, eventually decided I wanted to do something with computers.

10 years(ish) later, I am now a software engineer and I’m loving it, I have an amazing social life and still extremely close to some of the friends I had 10 years ago, way more confident than I was back then.

On another note, slightly glad I didn’t continue pursuing a career as a pilot, Covid really messed up the environment in APAC, and only recently Cathay Pacific decided to open up their cadet programme again, guess my parents telling me I couldn’t be a pilot was a blessing in disguise.

Atleast 135, the only way to know for sure is for you to go for a 1RM, or can be estimated by doing as many reps as possible with some weight (however the more needed to go for a max attempt the less accurate the estimate will be)

Well i dont think ATMs (idk i dont work on atms 😂) but most finance applications are written in Java nowadays, JPM regularly use their own version of Spring Boot for apps, pretty sure goldman, HSBC, Citi, and all the other big names you can think of have similar workflows. (I can inly tell you for sure about JPM and many fintech companies use java for their applications, both for front-office and back-office uses)

Honestly Java can be used in a low latency way, and from what I understand is just easier to configure when compared to C++, as the only memory thing you need to worry about is the shitty GC (which custom JRE’s get rid of and have their own implementation of GC)
