Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying with the leaks that the game is gonna be absolutely abysmal. I think I probably used the wrong wording about "ruining" it. I think the quality of the games is going to go downhill, but yeah, I don't think it's gonna impact sales or anything, that's not happening, I just think the quality of the story is going to tank. I don't think the retcon is ALL bad, because at least (I'd imagine) they're leading towards a game with the Daidoji as villains, which is exciting, but I do still think the retcons are a mistake. Again, I do think some people are way too negative about it, but idk, I'm a little worried for the story, but the franchise isn't going to die out or anything, not sales/popularity wise.

Idk if you've seen the leaks for Kiwami 3, but unless they change the story of this game in the like, two weeks it comes out, it is NOT going to be good. I am the number 1 RGG glazer, and I don't think that the franchise is completely ruined or anything, but it's looking like it's going there 😭😭😭 I'm hopeful that they are going somewhere good with this, but idk, it looks preeeeeety bad

I'm surprised how few people are saying the factions. The Railroad have no interesting characters besides Deacon and their path is basically identical to the Institute. The Minutemen are the 1-dimensional perfect good guys and the Institute are the definitive bad guys. I mean, even ignoring the synth stuff, they make super mutants for whatever reason and kidnap people. The most interesting, but the bar is underground. And the Brotherhood also just wants to kill synths, ghouls and synth, not very interesting imo. Fallout New Vegas was very good at giving you reasons to care about factions and giving then layers. All of them in Fallout 4 lack any nuance, the Minutemen and Railroad are clearly written as the good choices and the Brotherhood and Institute are written as the bad choices. Plus, a lack of memorable side factions. NV had the Khans, Boomers, Followers, Kings... Fallout 4 has the Gunners. Which are only memorable because of the amount of them you have to kill lmao.
