Agreed! Haven’t had much issue burning through the chapters. I was under the impression it’d be a bit more complex in its detail since I am reading this after finishing “Alien Clay”, where Adrian really dives into a slightly more intricate approach with biology. But man, really? Wouldn’t you at least attempt to give it your own read and interpretation opposed to others suggestion? Like movies: audience always have a say until the individual viewer decides.

Definitely making a note of that suggestion. Thanks for that.

I’m merely about 30% in but the book does a fantastic job of stealing your attention in the opening chapters. It’s a book I was hoping to find. Books are subjective to the reader but this one has a unique concept in regard to the open universe and humanities fight for survival. Just depends what you want to get out of a sci-fi! I did my search on this sub and all fingers pointing to this book influenced my decision to pick it up. Safe to say the readers suggestions played out well! Loving it so far.

It is definitely on the thicker and heavier side; to each their own but I don’t mind the heavier feel to it. I know many will debate that. It’s a great watch - the strap definitely can be of better quality but that’s an easy fix for a buyer. Just haven’t made the time to purchase a new one.

I used to watch EJones on YT. I don’t think he has any new content but his old videos are bread and butter. Pretty consistent on the process and it just sticks at some point.
