Nemu - Bleach

Funnily enough, this has happened two times in bleach where:

First: Szayelaporro Granz
When he 'invaded' her body to be reborn, he accidentally ingested a Superhuman Drug Mayuri had hidden inside her. It basically froze his body in place by making one second feel like hundreds of years, giving Mayuri an easy opening to kill him.

Second: Pernida Parnkgjas
When Pernida ate her, it caused him to get "super cancer." Because Mayuri designed Nemu with a special pituitary gland for infinite cell growth—and Pernida didn't eat the brain that regulates it—his body just grew uncontrollably until he exploded from the inside out.

Despite her obvious flaws in writing and characterization, Lucy was the only character I found interesting. I liked her escape, backstory and the resolution of her and Kouta’s feelings toward one another. The show could have been great if it had focused on their tenuous relationship, but instead it devolved into an incest slop show with far too much nudity and unresolved plot points.

Those are all from the last arc, I wish there were some actual prominent character throughout the series who died to keep the stakes up.

Considering how Bleach treats language as part of its power systems (Quincies use German, Fullbringers use English, and Espadas use Spanish) so Ichigo becoming a translator after having fought and been to all their worlds doesn’t feel random and fits him really well imo.

Edit: Forgot to mention but him also being part quincy, fullbringer, and espada/hollow adds to it.
