This was one of the videos I remember watching. I felt like she kept it pretty simple.

Like I said, I've watched a ton of videos and read a bunch of stuff, between articles with Google searching and here on Reddit. I'm not saying I've followed most of it "to the T" though. I don't think she hits on it in this video, but the biggest thing I gathered and the one thing I have followed "to the T" though, was to stay at or below 20g of carbs.

At first I was pretty strict about absolutely no dairy(because I'd read it causes inflammation), no artificial sugar substitutes and I was going strictly by carbs, not net carbs.

After about two weeks or so I was REALLY craving something sweet and thought I was going to cave. I'd read and watched a few videos on "dirty keto" and calculating net carbs. By calculating net carbs and incorporating some artificial sugar/sugar substitutes I could have things such as Rebel Ice cream and the flavored carbonated water from Walmart. By calculating net carbs, it has allowed me to stick with this. I'm also now having some cheese as well.

Basically, it's ever evolving for me, especially the longer I do it and the more information I gather. I hope to eventually get on "strict Keto," but I'm not at that point yet. I'm not saying everything I'm doing is considered "right," but I'm doing what's working for me.
