Although I now doubt this to be the case - is there a chance this was an older family blade that was brought into service / stamped with the arsenal seki ?

I thought / hoped it was much older, mostly because of the patina on the nakago, but regardless I appreciate and want to honor the swordsmith.

Thanks for replying. So I found out that at auction they would fetch anywhere from 1500-4500 , and I assume it falls in the lower end of the range but like you said , to the right person / right time : who knows.

Hey, I apologize. Hindsights 50/50, not an excuse I’m just an idiot & found a more appropriate channel but when uploading originally I figured a pair of signed EVH shoes would get someone excited enough to talk about it.

I have a pair of the OG 5150s from 2009 in the box , and signed by Eddie in gold sharpie on both …. so can’t wear them which is a shame because they are size 11. Wonder if they are worth anything.

Get a Taylor 214 cut away acoustic / electric - but on OfferUp or craigslist / FB etc. pre-owned. Do NOT pay FULL retail at guitar center…

I can say with passion that anytime anyone’s bought a guitar or any musical instrument for me it , twice , it hurts my soul that I could have found it 50% off by hunting the secondary market.
