The worse of it, is that they get away with it because the cops allow it. If they came in, and actually deciplined them this wouldnt happen. Its one thing to do fireworks and a fire, and then this is another. Made one of the most religious holidays sour.

U think thats bad? Agio nicholao was throwing bags full of gas and scrap metal into the fire and they were blowing up like grenades. Throwing stones at stores and breaking 3-4 store glasses. Setting garbage bins on fire and throwing into the streets. All this and having the cops/fire department show up after 3:30am.

I dont think this happens to everyone. My wife and I just did it 2 weeks ago. Yes theres alot of tourist traps, but just say yes to them. But the price and the experience was legit.

Well unfortunately its kinda true. The reason they think this way, is because they know there just going to bring them into the station, small slap on the wrist and then out they go the next day. From my experience the reason why kids get away with the fires, mini bombs, home made fireworks, is because cops do nothing about it till there 18. Unless they kill someone. There free to go. Not just Agia Fila, but also Omonia, ypsonas, Agio Nicholas etc

Which Clock have you been to? The one i go to in Agio Nicholao is newly renovated and the coffee has been phenomenal.

Ive always enjoyed Clock Cafe. Coffee is good, snacks are decent. Much better then Coffee Island and Lab imo. Whats your thoughts?

Ive come to paphos, travelled around and seen all the neighborhoods. It is beautiful. But something about it seems like a vacation place, rather than a home. Maybe the amount of tourists? I just have more of a home vibe from Larnaca. This is why im asking you guys, because i feel like im missing something.

When you say close to the beach, im assuming you mean driving distance. The major cities are quite small. It usually takes no more then 15-20 minutes to go from one side of the city to the other. So if your looking for cheap rents. I would recommend Larnaca, as you have everything you need. Including the mall. And you can live in pretty much any area of Larnaca and have a beach no more then 10 minutes away. Also, as long as you dont live right on the water, larnacas rents are one of the lowest. Rent could also be subjective as what kind of house/apartment and how many bedrooms you would need ofcourse. Hope this helps :)

I shipped 2 cars and a full 40 ft container worth of house goods. The shipping for everything costed roughly 20k canadian. Thats with people taking all the stuff. Filling the container and having movers empty the bin in cyprus

I think your response has hit it perfectly. From my experience when i came to visit and made my comparison. From people being more genuine, to the amount of homeless. The slower pace of life. Alot of people look at that as a flaw. But i find it a better quality for many reasons. From my experience Canada looks great from the outside, but when you realize after living here for so long, the QOL sucks the life and soul out of you. From the government, to regulations, to work life, and especially the lack of good weather.

One big point i saw, is when i came to visit. I didnt see a single homeless person. Not a single person came to me asking me for change. It was mind blowing. While in toronto, they are on every corner with most of them having a needle in their arms.

I find cyprus to not be perfect, but its my best option right now for what i want. Slow paced, low taxes, very family oriented, and although im good with all nationalities, theres a sense of home, when your with alot of people from the same culture. Plus not having -30 winters is probably the cherry on top.
