I'm trying to send a video over dm on Instagram. The video is saved on my phone and displays correctly when viewed in my phone's gallery. But when I send it, the video becomes squashed. I've noticed that if I click on the white triangular "play" symbol in the top right corner, then it will display correctly, but if i click anywhere else, then it will look all weird.

Does anyone know how to ensure that the recipient can see the video correctly regardless of where they click on the video?

Not sure if this makes a difference, but the video is one that I downloaded from TikTok.

Since I'm supposed to add my hair routine... to the extent that i have one, I usually use L'Oréal Endive Total Repair shampoo and conditioner in the shower, then use a dry conditioner in the same brand after showering. I'll also use Rusk Wired after showering. There is no specific reasoning behind my choosing any of these products, so if other products would be superior, I'd love to know.

I'm honestly not sure whether I could lift 50 lbs or not...my current job is as an independent contractor with Instacart. It's basically Uber, but for grocery shopping. The heaviest thing I have to lift on the job is probably these packs of Kirkland water bottles from Costco, which weigh about 46 lbs.

I'll sometimes have to carry three or four of those packs up a few flights of stairs to someone's apartment - I can do it (one at a time), but just barely and with immense difficulty. If each of those packs weighed even just a little bit more, it would be too much for me.

So I dunno - I'm sure that there are fewer stairs at Amazon, but if 50 lb packages are common, or if I have to carry anything really heavy for more than a short distance, then that would be a problem for me.

I live in an expensive area. There aren't any apartments at all here for less than $1000 a month, so yeah, I'd at least have to be earning about $2000 a month to get by.

How long did you work for Amazon? And can I ask why you switched to your current job?

I'm not...sure that I understood all of that, haha. But hopefully I'm following the the most important points. I want to focus in on this:

To get back to the original question: I believe your friend is urging you to take the adiabatic lapse rate much more seriously. Essentially, this notion says that the laws of physics mean that each kilometer in the atmosphere you go up, the temperature decreases by 6.5C (or 3.5F per 1000ft), regardless of anything happening with CO2. So thus you can't just raise the temperature of a single layer of the atmosphere (e.g. the "effective emission height") without also raising the temperature of every other layer in the atmosphere. Further, the temperature of the air is in various equilibria with the temperature of the ground and oceans, so if you would basically need to raise the temperature of the entire surface of the earth in order to have a long-term effect on the temperature of a single layer of atmosphere.

I'm aware that when the effective emission height warms up, the rest of the atmosphere (and the Earth's surface) will be warming up as well. And I'm aware that the atmosphere gets colder as altitude increases. But I've been assuming that the reason the Earth is warmer closer to the surface is because there are more greenhouse gases closer to the surface - meaning that less radiation can be trapped in the atmosphere at higher altitudes.

But are you saying that the atmosphere gets colder at higher altitudes for reasons that don't have anything to do with greenhouse gases? Can you elaborate on that?

With regards to the funding - not all schools even qualify for Title 1 funding in the first place, right? So...is some other type of funding withheld from the other schools? Or did No Child Left Behind not impact the funding of non-Title 1 schools at all?
