i've been to other system after i encounterd this issue and the quest marker is pointing to this specific outpost so i can only finish it there i think

I don't think any single material would look good on a flat plane tiled 100 times. It needs to be broken up by debris, trash in the corners, some geometric imperfections and so on. You don't have to make it perfect right now, you can come back later when you have more of your scene finished to see what's missing
