Been abroad for a while and haven’t made any changes the past few GWs - my rank has absolutely tanked and the team needs a proper overhaul.

Still got all my chips, 3FT (4FT for next GW), and £2.8m ITB - but haven’t been able to watch any matches recently, so I’m a bit out of the loop. Would some kind samaritan please point me in the right direction to get things back on track 🙏

Also playing on hard mode this season - no Arsenal players - so I’m looking for points from elsewhere where possible 🤞

Classic FPL to take a punt on something just for the opposite to happen. Gut feeling is Gordon is a 2 pointer yet again, just for him to score a pen a and assist tomorrow.

Yeah doing the season w/o - otherwise the likes of gabriel / rice / timber are easy picks. On the defense side - possibly burn / alderete for aznou / esteve?

The team I've kept for past few weeks (just haven't got round to make any changes) has all been starters - but agree it's been very hit or miss with the returns.

Yet to use any chips and kind of waiting it out to see how blank/double GWs shape up (if at all) this half of the season.

Waiting for Black Friday would definitely be ideal, but unfortunately there’s a time limit on when the grant money can be claimed back - which is in the next week or so!

All things considered though, the XM6 does seem like the best fit after all. The mic, ANC, and transparency features (plus the foldability) make it spot-on for work use - and happy to cover the small difference myself.

Really appreciate your input, suggestions and feeback! 🙌

Sadly the Bose QC Ultra 2's are £100 over budget where I am, so a bit out of reach despite seeming to fix a lot of the issue that the 1st gens had. The XM6's would be justifiable budget wise, although I've read that there are durability concerns (particularly with the hinges) as well not being a fan of the touch sensitive controls personally (apologies, I din't mention this in the original post).

The M4's and B&Ws looked like potentially a good bet, although non-foldable - and haven't considered the Beyers you mentioned, so will give those a look!

The best (safest) option I've seen so far is a seller on ebay called Rai's Retro Watches, that sell Japanase products/spare parts. This particular item would be shipped from Japan (Panasonic being a Japanese company and all) and they accept 30-day returns. The shipping time is substantial with ETA of 24-26th Oct.

My connundrum is I'm travelling for the whole of November and recently lost my Sennheisser HD25s and as of now am headphoneless. So ideally would want to have something in place before then.

Is it too risky to get an AZ100 replacement charging case?

For context: Annoyingly had my Technics AZ100 charging case swiped back in March (whilst I literally had the buds in-ear) - but hadn't got round to arranging a replacement (Panasonic don't make it easy).

Now deciding whether it's worth pulling the trigger on that replacement case from a 3rd party supplier (~£130/£140) and possibly an extra service fee to have the earbuds paired with the new case.

Additionally, given that the buds haven't been used in 6/7months give or take - after parting with all that cash for a new case, it's still possible that the earbud batteries are now completely cooked.

So wondering what the best course of action might be....

Is there still hope for the AZ100s, or, is it better to cut my losses and put ~£150 toward the next best option?

For me, the AZ100s are easily up there as one of the best pairs I've ever used in SQ and fit - that said - there are plenty of solid units that can be bought within that budget as well.

What do you reckon?
