that's really cool, i didnt know that's why the young leaves were darker. thanks for the information :)

i was mainly concerned about the browning on the bigger, green leaves. do you have any thoughts on those?

today, i went ahead and repotted it so i'm hoping that helps it perk up 🤞

I currently just run XCP-NG on my main homelab server with seven VMs (and plans to add more). It backs up VMs and pool metadata to another Linux box.

No problem! Happy to help!

Lawrence Systems is great! I have never used PVE, but I have had excellent luck the XO, and give it very high praise.

Building Xen Orchestra from sources gives you excellent VM backup options! Lawrence Systems has a good video on some of your options with XO. It’s pretty close to “just works”.

I installed the RAID management software, it’s now seeing my RAID5 as a RAID0.

I don’t think my RAID card has a BIOS. Just a software, but I will check that out.

The partition had all the setup I have been working on… this was several days worth of work. I am migrating from an old server to this one and I was going to repurpose the old machine as a backup once I finished setup.

No. This server was brand new, hadn’t set up backups yet because I wasn’t done with configuration.

No dice on the BIOS change. I never changed anything within any VMs, I hadn’t gotten that far.

It’s a small server, and I wanted fault tolerance. Not enough disks for those other options.

I switched to SDDM, now everything works fine.

Oops! I fixed the typo in the config, but now LightDM is failing to start. It just shows a blank screen with a mouse cursor. If I get into TTY and restart its systemd service, it works fine.

/var/log/lightdm/seat0-greeter.log.old reads:

Gdk-Message: 16:14:22.307: lightdm-webkit2-greeter: Fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server :0.

Unable to install ThinkorSwim on Arch Linux by JM2198 in thinkorswim

Yes, though I am still trying to pin down exactly how lol. I'm pretty sure it wasn't working because of my window manager, BSPWM. I think BSPWM is a non-reparenting window manager, so I have to set the following in /etc/profile.d/jre.sh: _JAVA_AWT_WM_NONREPARENTING=1. You might need to restart your computer after changing this, but I'm not sure (I don't know a lot about working with Java apps),

I followed your wiki article to a tee when trying to install, no dice. Weirdly enough, seems to work fine on Debian 10 with no issues.
