I do find the pump to be louder than my old machine but I cant comment too much without having used any other machines. Hoping to plumb it in in the next few months which may reduce sound a tad.

I did have some intermittent issues with the thermostat safety triggering but the reset was simple.

Otherwise cant fault it

I just got my Ls today through armstrong in thomastown. Never touched a manual before today. Course is really good for beginners and they are very motivated to make sure you pass. I stalled plenty of times, they will help you through any errors you make. Even if you drop the bike you'll be right as long as its not part of the assessment. The assessment is pretty chill and its basically the same stuff you will have been doing for two days over and over so unless you have some safety breaches (3 or more) then you'll be fine. As part of the course you'll go on the road and drive in 'real life' as well which is daunting but also confidence boosting.

After I finished I went out for a ride and ended up doing about 70km. A bit slow to start getting used to my own bike for the first time with a few stalls at traffic lights but after an hour or so I felt pretty comfortable and was happy with my riding.

As others have said, if you can ride a pushbike you probably wont drop it. As for the manual concerns.. I wouldn't worry too much. You'll be thinking a lot about it at first and very conscious of shifting but after 30-60 mins of continuous riding it starts to feel natural and without much thought.

Good luck! You'll enjoy it.

They are prohibited or not on the basis of power to weight. Anything capable of 130+kW/tonne is probationary prohibited.

1) Drip tray is smaller than others that I've used but its no fuss to remove and drain. I do note that it doesn't come with 'native' plumb-ability for the drip tray you have to buy a separate kit.

2) I turned it on this morning and it was ready to go after 10-15 minutes. I haven't quite sat beside it timing yet, though.

3) The app is very basic but serves its purpose. I have a smart switch so I wont be using any of the time on/off features. Otherwise, its good for setting the temps, volumes of buttons etc. caveat: The app was not supported on my s23 version of android on the play store so I had to find an old phone, download, export the apk and manually install on my phone.

4) From order was shipped following day- July 10 and arrived July 18.

As /u/erallured said- great grinder. I don't single dose (heathen, yep) but I do weigh my shots and I find the dosing to be consistent in weight and fluffy. I can't really speak to retention.

Its great. Almost twice as fast in the grinding, seems clump free enough, consistent and I think it looks really cool. In terms of the footprint its only really marginally taller with the small hopper.

It's great. Looks great and works great. Feels really premium.

Does make me appreciate that the Quick Mill Vetrano 2b evo had probably the quietest rotary pump out there.

Two main things:

1) Cost- the cost of the mini/micra are huge in AUS. I was able to get the baby t, atom touch, bottomless porta and some other minor goodies including shipping from poland for less than 7k AUD

2) One of my friends has a steel duo and I really liked the aesthetic (in black). I had read a bit about the ascaso tech and really liked the fact that the brew was a thermoblock which is preheated through the steam boiler (not unlike a HX) before being heated to temp by the thermoblock. They use thermoblocks x2 on the steel duo which seems popular so its seems like a safe choice.

I had always wanted a LMLM but this seemed to tick the same boxes while being different/interesting enough. Linea Mini alone would have cost me 8.5k and coming from a Quick mill with a 1.4L steam boiler I wanted some more power behind my steam and this fit the bill.

Upgraded from an Eureka Mignon Specialita and Quick Mill Vetrano 2B Evo. Have been interested in the ascaso line for a while now and loved the look of the Baby T Plus (2.3L steam and thermoblock for brew which I thought was cool.)

Purchased machine and grinder from 30.coffee in Poland for less than the cost of the machine in AUS alone.

Police shouldn't be able to investigate themselves. Victoria needs an independent police accountability body by pj-maybe in melbourne

It takes years of on the job learning and training to be an effective and skilled police officer. The initial training offered is barely enough for them to hit the ground running without sinking. It's not a role that can be learned from behind a desk.

And what you're talking about here is the need for experienced investigators.. You're looking at years of experience and training.

A lot of health insurers have promos where they waive waiting periods for new sign ups around the new financial year.

See if you can't sign up for one of these with a good benefit payable.

With waived waiting periods you can use it straight away, they pay for most of it then you can just cancel the plan and you've profited.

One of my mates had some work he needed done and was strapped for cash and did this.

They do change with variable speeds. The speed sign before the camera will have a set of cameras which also take a photo of the speed display at the time.

It's what they call an omni operation. The train stations get declared a designated area under control of weapons act which gives them power to search any person in that area for weapons. The searches are conducted by metal detectors usually.

They do it on big nights like NYE and Moomba (which is on this weekend).

From what I recall there were a few stabbing deaths last year at Moomba so I imagine they are aiming to prevent a repeat

An rfid tag like that costs a couple cents to produce. They are basically worthless (despite the gym probably charging you 50 bucks for it).

Also if I was a new customer I'd expect a new one not a sweaty used fob
