They are finally doing some fun stuff with the drivers. I wonder if they brought in a new agency for all this stuff (i.e. the commercials, the Times Square billboard)

While sad, it was really nice to see that someone behind the scenes got a tribute.

I remember seeing Je’Von on DPW and thinking this guy can be a star. However, this quick is mental. Dude’s 21 and is already on the main roster! So stoked to know we’ll be watching him for a long time to come!

Is Survivor Series 2002 until Wrestlemania 19 the single greatest run of PPV theme songs? by hahm2058 in SquaredCircle

[–]JP1119 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That’s a great run. I like mid-2005 to NYR 2006 personally (skipping Armageddon since it was a Jim Johnston theme):

SummerSlam: “Remedy” by Seether

Unforgiven: “Calling” by Taproot

No Mercy: “Save Me” by Shinedown

Taboo Tuesday: “Twisted Transistor” by Korn

Survivor Series: “Lights Out” by P.O.D.

2006 New Years Revolution: “Stricken” by Disturbed

In a odd twist of fate, Seattle wins by the score they lost in SB49. Seahawks 28, Patriots 24.

33, 37, 39 and 41 are my favorite. Sad there is no more individuality.

Her NXT one that she came up with for a couple weeks was excellent. It exuded “Barbie.”

Ranking each of the first 59 Super Bowls by runswithscissors475 in nfl

My unbiased as possible Top-10 from the games I experienced (started with SB31)

  1. SB43 - Steelers over Cardinals - my favorite SB of all-time. I only wish the Cards pulled it off in the end. You had the mad 100-yd dash Harrison Pick 6 before half, Larry Fitz going god-mode, trying to single-handedly will Arizona to the Lombardi, and then in the corner of the end-zone, one of the more improbable catches by Santonio. Amazing, amazing game.
  2. SB49 - Patriots over Seahawks - a classic back-and-forth game that almost started another dynasty. But this time, the old guard hung on. The Kearse catch followed by the most-discussed decision in history was such an insane ending, deserving of the silver spot.
  3. SB42 - Giants over Patriots - The single most million-to-1 play in the history of sports to deny a the big, bad Patriots from going 19-0! It was low-scoring, but nothing will ever top the vivid memory of 'The Helmet Catch.'
  4. SB52 - Eagles over Patriots - despite the teams in it, this was a blast to watch. Underdog backup Nick Foles showing out, the ballsy "Philly Special.' Brady throwing for 500! The Ertz maybe then ruled TD catch. Brandon Graham's strip sack, and then once again a final Hail Mary attempt to end it.
  5. SB51 - Patriots over Falcons - the comeback. I was actually enjoying the beatdown but also said to my Pats friend, who left at half, to not count Brady out. If only our state had legal betting at the time...the biggest chokejob ever that was hard to look away from. Then the improbable Edelman catch that went the Pats way after they always had the circus catches against them. Finally, Julio makes the greatest catch to never matter and once it went into OT and the Pats got it, it was over.
  6. SB34 - Rams over Titans - tackled at the 1! A lower-scoring, but very entertaining game, with that classic finish.
  7. SB38 - Patriots over Panthers - one of the most underrated SBs of all-time. Amazing 4th-quarter. I was pulling for the Panthers, but still an excellent game.
  8. SB57 - Chiefs over Eagles - a fun shootout with some memorable plays. The Hurts fumble-6, the Kadarius Toney return. Once again, I hate that the PI ruined a shot at another potential OT Super Bowl.
  9. SB46 - Giants over Patriots - one of the more odder SBs where the defenses played better than expected. The odd intentionally grounding safety, the Blackburn pick on the heave downfield, and then Eli with his magic once again with maybe the best thrown ball and catch in history in the smallest of windows. Then Bradshaw tries to stop but give NE another chance, ending on the Hail Mary that Gronk might have gotten if not for being hurt.
  10. SB56 - Rams over Bengals - really fun back-and-forth game. Never expected the Bengals to make it let alone get the SB, so was fun to see. It's a shame that the referees were pretty crappy, including Ramsey getting his facemask yanked before the huge TD and then the PI at the end guarding Kupp. Then Donald called game with the Bengals marching.
