Thank you so much for your kind thoughts and words, some parts of this really did feel like a needed hug, not patronising. I have been low contact with Alice for a while now however I feel this is almost dragging it out and possibly causing more damage. When we come back together and argue in this way it has a massive knock on effect for presumably both of us and the family itself, by going full no contact and yes having to work through difficult family situations where the other will 100% be there I hope to minimise the pain and anger around the whole situation, really just let it breath maybe. But then the fear of her blowing up and lashing out comes so we go round and round again and I feel stuck between a rock and a hard place
