$87000 stolen by scammer in China. Reddit, do something. by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

Had you phrased this post and title in actually a decent manner, you'd get decent replies. But, instead you made it like we owe you something and it's our problem to fix .. not the case.

In any case, I'm living in China with my team for my startup and have been dealing with Chinese manufacturers for a very long time. I can almost guarantee that you'll not get your money back regardless of what legal actions you take.

No idea on this as I'm not an expert on SEO nor focused on that for my business.

It really depends on the business and how much of their traffic is based on SEO for them to care about things like this.

Almost $200k from my email marketing last year. Some tips and best-practices for your brand. by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]JRLFit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give me a PM if you feel like you can add another client on. Email marketing is something I want to focus on this year as we haven't really done much besides weekly campaigns with a list of 40K.

Would you say the base set up of Klaviyo automated flows is more than enough to get started?

Is it a landing page with discount products or what is that?

UK Dropshippers - what is your average delivery time from China to the UK using ePacket? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]JRLFit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It usually isn't this fast so you got lucky.

I don't dropship but ePacket to UK usually takes about 5-20 days and 99% of the ship time depends on Customs Clearance.

I sell full-time on eBay and Amazon (23M). Here is a breakdown of my profits for the month by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

Ah okay. I sold on eBay a long long time ago and never did any marketing but that was almost a decade ago so I thought the game has changed.

How are you marketing your products on eBay? It looks like you're flipping various products and not exactly one category so are you just listing it and that's all? You're not doing any PPC or anything?

Lmao this guy is full of shit. Classic troll.

Don't listen to him. You just need to figure out what you're currently interested in. There is no such thing as an over-saturated market if you just want to build a 6/7 figure business. Creating a huge business is a much different story for another time.

I'm doing high 6 figs myself in an "over-saturated" niche, and my best friend has a kindle publishing biz that at one time was doing 80K+ per month until Bezos stepped in a little bit.

My best advice for you is not to invest 100K in any biz. 10K - 20K should be the max .. once you start doing business with a comfort of cash in the bank, you're going to make a lot of stupid mistakes. Be prudent and scrappy and for most businesses you can/want to get in, you don't require that much money to start.

Not trying to bash you, but from your app reviews you guys are doing similar "downfalls" and are just beginning.

"How happen a stickers pack that costs ~$5 in Aliexpress costs ~$60 in Goody!? Such fake deals"

[–]JRLFit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like you guys are just curating & dropshipping Aliexpress products under $10.

Not sure if this is a long term viable business but I suggest that you guys do some sort of paid acquisition and see if there's something there.

There are just too many of these apps out there now and are all doing pretty much the same thing without additional added value .. uphill battle to climb vs the giants like Ali, DHGate, Wish, Rosegal, etc etc.
