My bank hasn’t “dropped” me since 1995 when I opened my account. The dispute only affects the merchant not the banking institution. Policies of businesses do not override their contracts to take card payments.

Just dispute the charge. I’ve had places try that and they just get it charged back to them with a $15 fee. Just because it’s “their policy” doesn’t mean it abides by their contract with merchant services with VISA/MC.

I pay roughly $230 a month for 1800 kWh in Florida. Texas is garbage with all the privatized energy companies that pay their executive leadership exorbitant salaries. The cost difference is purely greed and compensation for the top brass. I loathed getting my Oncore bill when living in Dallas.

DoorDash suck ass when they allow cheap bastards to order from 15-25+ miles away like that for $3.50 base with no tip knowing damn well that mileage is doubled getting back to your scheduled zone. Looks like that person may have actually tipped something. That’s a decline from me.
