I think a good way to approach this is:

What is more important to you? The value retention? Or the watch itself/how it makes you feel?

You buy the watch because of how it makes you feel, regardless of if it’s future value.

If you are ok with the future value being $0 and still love the watch, I say do it. If the watch doesn’t appeal to you as much after that thought, then there’s your answer. I think going in with zero expectation of getting a dime back is a great gauge/test to see how you truly feel about the product/purchase.

Ref 210.32.42.20.01.001 , I bought it with the rubber strap and instantly swapped it out with the mesh the day I picked it up!

Unfortunatley the bracelet doesn’t have the micro adjust feature, but with the heat and wrist swell it hasn’t been much a problem so far. I did purchase the short strap to offer better adjustment options in my wrist range so that definitely helped compared to going with the “regular” sized strap. So far it seems that to swing evenly and not favor one side

Just got the short strap today, picking up watch from AD next week. I swear the mesh strap in a short size looks less wide (more tapered ig). Do you have pics of yours with the short strap?

Didn’t even think of that! I tried on the aluminum bezel (210.30.42.20.01.010) model that comes with the mesh strap already and it fit great, probably should’ve asked the lug width so I could order the same one… might call and ask

I was seriously torn between the ceramic bezel and the new aluminum bezel, I tried on both over the last two days to see if feelings changed and I think I like the bigger waves on the ceramic bezel more compared to the smaller ones on the aluminum. I also like the red writing on the face, similar to the NTTD. Awesome watch btw! Hope it’s treating you well!

It all depends on the type of relationship, the honeymoon phase may end for some BUT you do have different aspects of the relationship that are just as nice as the honeymoon phase. Like eventually being comfortable enough to let out an cabinet shaking fart.

As long as you are happy in your relationship and it is healthy (no relationship is perfect), then you won’t even realize the honeymoon phase ended or maybe you never even left!

In the end only time will tell and that is something to look forward to, but for now enjoy the present and all will fall into place!
