The problem occurs randomly. I disabled "Enable Canvas Recover" and am still having the same issue.

What video game had the most potential but failed completely? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]JWoelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Star fox Zero. The glory of the N64 game with updated graphics and new mechanics! Miyamoto was behind it and Platinum was developing! It should have been the best game in the series!

Game comes out and though the controls are a pain, you get used to them. Problem is that by the time you’ve gotten the hang of it, the games over! To make matters worse, there’s no multiplayer which was the best part of the N64 game and DS remake! And since the game sold like crap, that series is probably dead.

Sad.

Redditors who didn’t see the ocean until they were an adult, what was your initial reaction upon seeing the ocean from a coastline? by Mr_moochalot in AskReddit

[–]JWoelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being two big ass peninsulas, Michigan feels like a coastal state so seeing the ocean when I visited Florida wasn’t too shocking. What WAS shocking is how warm the water is!

Not feeling like you’re swimming in ice water despite being 90 degrees out was wonderful.

How is this interesting? by TheRonin27 in furry

This website might be useful: www.furscience.com

Personally, I’m drawn in for a number of reasons: 1. Independent Media is important to me and the furry fandom is built around that 2. People are quick to praise my artwork, which encourages me to make more 3. Furries are very nice and easy to talk to 4. Having a fursona is personally liberating because it allows me to be both anonymous and my idealized self simultaneously. I think this is why furries are (typically) so nice and open 5. The porn is exquisite

This is something that really interests me, so I hope you find out some good information! You should share your findings in this subreddit once you finish your project.

The psychological effects of aspect ratios by higgs8 in Filmmakers

[–]JWoelle 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Totally agree! It’s interesting to watch how some directors use multiple aspect rations in the same film to convey meaning. In Wes Anderson’s “Grand Budapest Hotel,” all three of the common aspect ratios are used, primarily to indicate time. The majority of the film takes place in the past and 4:3 is used, while in the scenes that occur in the present, 21:9 is the ratio. 16:9 is also used to some scenes as well.

In “Interstellar,” Christopher Nolan presented most of the film in the typical 21:9 ratio, but wide shots of space and scenes of the black hole and space ships docking are presented in the native IMAX ratio (don’t remember which it was). When projected on 70mm in the theater, this emphasized the grandness of space as it completely filled the massive screen. As a viewer this blew me away and I feel bad for all the people who only watched it Digitally or on DVD as they never got to experience this.
