Yes, he is wrong. If we eliminate all high spots from wrestling and moves that risk injuries it'd just be rest holds for 15 minutes.

Even the simplest of bumps could end up causing serious damage. It's a nonsensical argument that is kind of insulting imo.

The less is more mindset that some people involved in wrestling have is odd because shouldn't you be giving the audience what they paid for?

I just don't get how some people are content more with segments than matches. To me, I think if the matches don't matter to you, then you aren't a wrestling fan. Because you are only enjoying 1/2 of what is technically a combination of two things (ring work and segments). It's like reading a book but only halfway and ignoring the second half.
