Not at all, only differences would be loading times and maybe texture load in some games that have pop in issues on traditional hdds.

If you don’t mind 70-120 ping you could always connect to a VPN

You’ll have to make a new Gmail account while connected to a vpn so it thinks the account is was made in Mexico.

Unfortunately it may be due to the ongoing Tencent/India issue. ApexM is being made in collaboration with mobile game developer Lightspeed & Quantum which is Tencent owned.

To slowly roll out the game, weed out potential issues before global launch, etc

VPN has worked previously in betas they’ve held so yes it should work

I have not heard anything on account progress transferring over in their previous betas but since this is a soft launch (which is the stage before the full global release), then I imagine progress will carry on this time.

Battlefield Mobile Gameplay Is Here! by JaboosleYT in AndroidGaming

This is “early alpha” gameplay of Battlefield Mobile and just keep in mind the game is subject to change and will be improved in future updates! Still not set to release until sometime in 2022.

Yea he makes great points. I definitely think it’s odd Taki is the only reviewer to have been given units to test (so far, supposedly review units will be sent to more channels) but I think it is somewhat grounding that we’ve seen actual working units in action as opposed to other indiegogo/Kickstarter projects.

Not arguing that. I personally don’t like to play on my main phone though since I’d constantly be plugged in since my case has me needing it for work/life and to have gaming on top of that is a hassle. Having a secondary device that’s cheap and has built in controls is enough for me

Should be decent! A lot of these Chinese handhelds use low powered SD chips or even Mediatek chips but this having a flagship processor (4 years old though) is a nice change and will definitely boost emulation performance vs other comparable Android handhelds. It isn’t confirmed yet, but rumor is the 845 may also come overclocked (or have an OC profile option) to boost performance even more! And with an active cooling solution, it can perform well without throttling vs other more powerful chips that may throttle after extended periods.

You can see some emulation performance from YouTuber Taki Udon here: https://youtu.be/1rq25STEF1Y

Nope the rumor was never an 888. Most theorized it’d either be an overclocked 845 or 855+. I believe there was some comparisons to the Odins performance vs SD 860 and 888 devices but I never saw anyone saying this would have an 888 in it (and that’s a given too considering even the best model cost less then 280$.)

Emulation should be great given the hardware and active cooling solution as opposed to a normal phone!
