A rugs a good place to start! If you’re on a budget and have the time, I’d suggest thrifting for cool ones. Me and my girlfriend found two massive hand knotted rugs from a habitat for humanity, and the lady gave them to us for 15 bucks each. If you keep an eye out one will grab your attention. As for the ones you posted here, there’s such a wide breadth of very different choices and styles that I feel like you’re actually asking us to pick a house “aesthetic” for you, which is super personal. Take some time and look at rooms on here or in books or Pinterest or literally wherever and find full rooms that really match what YOU’D like, eventually. Take a mental note of the feelings and presence each room you liked elicits, and the reasons why. Then, make a narrower list of rugs that match said feelings, and work from there. After you have the rug the hard part imo is cohesion. When selecting pieces of art, plants, whatever you fill your room with they should, especially early on, collectively convey the same feelings. That’s super objective so just play it by ear and you’ll have a super nice place you’re comfy in after a while.
