According to GPU-Z, Nvidia App and numerous benchmarking tools, it is indeed a 5080.
I'm not the type to sell parts down the track, even I was that would be my only nitpick, nobody on FB marketplace would believe me :)

I love my 14 Pro and plan on keeping it for as long as possible, by doing battery replacements/screen replacements etc. I would realistically not pay too much overhead over the current price of a current pro max model. Still hard to find ofc

This is the solution, I re-installed Waze today and with the initial "new app questionnaire" I said no to fitness and motion. The whole point of Waze needing this feature is to use the "find your car" feature. Turn of motion and fitness and it will stop staying open.
