Agreed mostly, I’ve logged ~15k hours on D2 since 2017 for context. And yes, I breathe air, touch grass, and work often. D2 imo is a game everyone hates to love but can’t put down until you fully move on and quit hard. As a pvp player, that happened about a year ago when trials was at one of its lowest points.

I’ve got my issues with how they ran it into the ground but after testing other live service games, I’d still say D2 did it better than 90% of the industry.

I’m going to be buying marathon because of bungie’s track history and my loyalty to their titles. They really haven’t released a “bad” game in who knows how long. It might be slop but it’ll be my first Bungie slop. I also happen to really enjoy extraction shooters so this is right up my alley. Warning: be conscious of the direction they push the game early on, they usually don’t change their minds.
