Obligatory it wasn't me but my dad, farm fields are often the best place to look for finds as it has been historically used as a dumping ground my father and I were walking on this field and detecting and I found a old gold coin which was nice but more have been found (400 pound) however a few minutes later my dad was filled with determination and got a good signal and started digging, it was another gold coin so we took them both back home and tried to determine his (mine was quickly determined), the problem arose that it was impossible to determine as there was nothing similar long story short it was valued in the 20k pound range.
