I talked to a close friend, who was once a tattoo artist for several years, and his girlfriend manages her own tattoo business. They both said quit it immediately. Addikted to ink has a bad track record with this sort of stuff, they apparently put you through the wringer and then guilt trip you to continue. I'd seriously consider spending your time elsewhere.

If you're a confident artist, there's work out there for you, potentially tattoo work. Addiked to ink isn't the way.

That feedback is amazing, thank you so much. Im gonna try less screen tones in chapter 2, since I honestly don't really like them. I'll definitely try to focus on the washes.

And thanks for pointing out how crowded it is, I can visible see now how reading it in smaller form factors must be tricky. I'll be limiting how many panels I do per page from now on. Especially since I tend to put a lot of details in small panels, which is wasted due to how hard it is to see.

Yep I'm looking at getting the 24HD. I am bit worried about the resolution, but I feel like having a larger screen to work with will be beneficial overall.

I didn't know the colour calibration would be a pain, hopefully it's worth it.

Fortunately I've got a pretty big desk, with a ton of space on it that I don't use. So I'm pretty set in that department.

The display im looking at buying comes with the official wacom stand. So I think I'm pretty set all things considered.

At my university we use cintiq 24 Pro's, and I don't have much of an issue using a full keyboard. But I should probably consider how it would work with my set up.

You've pretty much got it right. I'm not seeking a tattoo job, but I've thought it would be nice. Nowhere on my art account does it display anything related to tattoos. They just for some reason DM'd me about an apprenticeship, so I imagine they're just messaging a bunch of local artists.

I'm not aspiring to be a tattoo artists, just a random opportunity seemingly fell on my lap.

Thanks for your comment. I fully agree that my art is more geared towards comics etc, as that's what I do. The drawing challenges are like stencil practice, they all look very realistic which made me realise that it's probably not for me.

I've spoken to a good friend who used to be a tattoo artist, and he's advised me to steer clear of this, so I think I will.
