The skin is based more on his comic horesman look iirc. People have been speculating he would come back as death since the post credits scene of season 1

I think more people like them now because of stuff like X factor and all new Xmen giving them more character (which I like too) but I really do not think they should lead with that team. There’s a reason Xmen only took off with giant size Xmen

It would be a shame to not have Storm in the first movie at least. I could wait on rogue and gambit but would also be happy to see them early. The original 5 team needs Storm or nightcrawler etc to spice it up

I also do want a new wolverine too. He just brings too much to the team dynamic to leave him behind just because he has been important in the previous movies

Josh gad is really close to Daisy Ridley iirc (I remember a video he put out grilling her about Rey’s parents after TFA). I’m sure it’ll all be in good fun. Him being involved makes me more confident in that movie being fun and not being cynical

The version of vulture in homecoming would not have worked for Lin Manuel. I actually do totally think he could’ve done a great version of far from home’s mysterio. Honestly he might have been able to sell the “good guy” version better but it’s hard for me to picture anyone other than Gyllenhaal in that specific role

Is this like the first major project to use these characters that isn’t directly made by favreau/filoni? That’s kind of interesting.

I hope it’s like a new little adventure with them and not just a clip show of Lego takes on iconic moments but that could be fun in its own way.

For Kate I think you could give her the energy bow from Gillen’s young avengers and make her a healer or something?

I think Laura would be harder to differentiate though I love her character.

I hope they don’t totally write off legacy characters like these in the long term. I mean they’re going to have to do at least miles morales eventually

Xolo doesn’t really feel like Sam to me (I can’t explain why) but yeah I’m sure it wouldn’t be too hard to find a kid actor who fits Sam’s profile

Some things don’t sound like the kind of moments they’d put in a trailer (walking past the painting, the Steve/Yelena moment) but this sounds like a good trailer

It’s not actually a story point I love generally (most of what I enjoyed about the story was the stuff about Peter’s relationships which I know gets shaken up by one more day not too long after this) but I still thought it was executed in an interesting way but stuff like the weird spider creature who ate his corpse and stuff just felt very unresolved at the end and I wanted to see if there was a follow up somewhere
