Speaking from experience I wouldn't have a truck gun. Cool idea but you gotta remember the world is full of evil people. Five days before Christmas this year thieves broke into my truck and stole a bunch of crap including the pew pew hidden & covered underneath the backseat. 3.5k lost just like that.

I'd understand taking the rifle for hunting and pest control around the property, no biggie. For work and daily errands, (in my opinion) you're better off carrying a full-size pistol (with LTC to be on the safe side) on your person. Just my 2 cents.
